Attorney Receives 2017 Judge Suzanne Covington Pro Bono Award

June 23, 2017

We had a fun evening mingling with other attorneys who provide pro bono services through Volunteer Legal Services (VLS), as well as supporting local judiciary, VLS board members, and VLS attorneys and staff. Judge Suzanne Covington joined the party, announcing that she will now be providing mediator services through VLS.

Several firms and individual attorneys were recognized for their pro bono service. OHL attorney Lorrie Orton Heath was recognized for her exemplary pro bono work, including "100+ hours" provided to VLS and "10+ Clinics" where she advised low-income individuals from across Central Texas.

The annual event was held at Graves Dougherty offices in downtown Austin, where all enjoyed the special event with cocktails and appetizers.
