Lorrie Orton Heath is the founding attorney of Orton Heath Law (“OHL”), which has principal offices based in Austin, Texas and Dallas, Texas.  

​

Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Lorrie was an award-winning executive with Fortune 500 and private companies, including corporate powerhouses Nestle Foods USA, GE  Healthcare, Boston Scientific, and Abbott Laboratories.  

​

Lorrie also assists low-income individuals and veterans through Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas and other non-profit organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family. 

Examples of Legal Services Provided to Clients
  • Directed provision of legal services to financial services software platform by collaborating with  its CEO on procurement, customer contracts, company financing, product claims, website advertising, and  competitive concerns.

  • Managed intake and legal process for nationally recognized Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)  accelerator by collaborating with its managing director, equity mentors, and participating companies.  

​

  • Negotiated, drafted, and managed sale and transfer of commercial leases between healthcare providers and national retail chain.  

  • ​Advised medical technology company concerning supply chain, advertising, and promotion.

​

  • Managed analysis of medical device product development and government regulation process in complex federal litigation valued at $5.4MM. 

​

  • Advised various companies, including purveyors of beverages, snacks, novelty items, and more concerning regulations related to packaging and labeling, ingredients, nutrition, and health claims.
